Shipping and Handling
Handling of stock items is 2-4 business day and shipping is 4-6 business days. All shipments are sent via FedEx Ground, UPS Ground, or a third party shipper (if order is > 100 pounds). There is no expedited service for orders due to the types of materials being shipped.
Returns and Exchanges
Returns & Exchanges must be approved and provided an RMA number prior to any merchandise being shipped back. Any merchandise returned without an approved RMA number will NOT be accepted or credited to the customer account if left without signature. Polyurea products, and products shipped directly from our manufacturing partners or by freight are generally not returnable. Special considerations may be made for products normally stocked in our Florida warehouse location. Contact Spray-Lining and Coatings to obtain an RMA request form which reflects the adjusted credit for your order (see fees below). No credit will be provided for orders after 30 days from shipping date.
Restocking fee for Returns or Exchanges:
A 35% restocking fee applies to standard store products returned which are not defective and are returned in salable condition. Special orders are subject to an additional 10% restocking fee (45% total) as these items cannot be returned to our general store stock and require additional handling. The customer must adequately insure and ship the product at their cost. Actual Spray Lining and Coatings costs for shipping and handling are non-refundable and will be debited from any return credit due whether charged on initial invoice or absorbed as part of product sale.
Salable Product Condition:
All items must be returned in salable condition in order to qualify for merchandise credit as detailed above. Any existing container or can locks must remain intact and sealed in same condition as shipped. Opened, torn, dented, or products otherwise not ready for resale upon arrival at our distribution center will not be eligible for refund.
Merchandise will be inventoried within 2 business days after arrival, and if damaged or missing items are determined, an adjusted RMA will be generated. This documentation, reflecting any adjustment to applicable credit will be provided to the customer for approval before refund is applied. After adjusted RMA is signed and returned, any resulting credit will be applied to original form of payment as soon as reasonably possible.
Packages which arrive at our facility with obvious damage will be noted with delivery driver, but not necessarily inventoried at that time. Spray Lining and Coatings assumes no responsibility for content damage or any claim you may wish to file for insurance purposes beyond noting obvious package damage.
Products which have been sold as part of a larger kit, re-poured, or provided in customized packaging at customer request for ease of mixing are not considered salable as they cannot be returned to stock for resale. Additionally, products which are manufactured for specific customer requirements and not generally available through our online outlets are not returnable with the exception of defective products as outlined below.
Allowances for credit on non-returnable merchandise may be made in certain circumstances solely at the discretion of Spray Lining and Coatings for products not generally considered salable.
Defective product must be determined on the phone with a certified professional. Once we have determined the type of product failure, we will either:
- Modify the order to make the system correct at no additional cost to you
- Exchange the product at no cost to you
In the case of a product exchange, Spray-Lining and Coatings must issue an RA# prior to customer sending back product in order to have the replacement processed.
If we send an incorrect order, we may send out replacement materials before receiving returned item. In this case, customer will be issued a shipping label and is expected to place sticker on original box with return materials. This may be picked up by FedEx the next day or customer may drop off within 5 business days. Attempts will be made via email and phone if tracking information is not updated within 5 business days of issuing return label. If customer does not return item in time allotted, the credit card on file will be charged for the price of the non-returned materials.
Loaner equipment may occasionally be provided on special orders for a duration of 30 to 60 days. This equipment will usually have a deposit amount identified on the custom quote and is refundable upon return as agreed. Return shipping is at customer expense. Equipment not cleaned or maintained with reasonable care may be subject to an adjustment in deposit refund accordingly.
Limits of Liability
We offer Products that can be used for waterproofing and corrosion prevention. Since the manner and condition of application are beyond our control, neither seller nor manufacturer shall be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential arising out of the use or the inability to use this product. The buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy against the manufacturer or his agent shall be the replacement of the defective product, and no other remedy (including, but not limited to, incidental or consequential damages for lost profits, lost sales, injury to property, labor costs and expenses or any other incidental or consequential loss) shall be available to the buyer.
Spray Lining and Coatings marketing organizations or businesses assume no liability for products sold through our online sales outlets or by direct phone orders beyond product replacement or refund of original purchase price for defective merchandise. Every effort is made to provide clear instructions and extensive phone support, but errors made by customers are still possible and beyond our control. Products which are applied without following directions provided or contacting us directly oftentimes cannot be confirmed as defective and may not be refundable due to customer failure to contact us promptly for support.
Disputes and Claims
Any claim for defective merchandise or other relief beyond that offered by phone support with our certified professionals must be provided in writing to our customer relations team within 30 days of purchase. Buyers agree that any claim related to their transaction which they wish to pursue will be under the jurisdiction of proper authority for the appropriate marketing business corporate office location at the time of such dispute.
Security Method for Transmission of Payment Data
All transactions are supported by 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer encryption and handled directly by PayPal. Passwords are secured using MD5 hash encoding. No credit card information is kept on file after the purchase. All financial security is provided PayPal and handled within their current protocols.
